Union Bank of India provides internet banking facility under the name of e banking services. You can avail this facility by online self registration process if you are retail customer and by a visiting the branch if you are corporate customer .
How to Register for UBI net Banking
For retail customer
As Union Bank is very big bank and provides various services, internet banking is one of them. The facility allows us to operate our personal account or corporate account and can make us do transaction with a single click. In order to activate UBI internet banking on your personal account you should keep following things ready with yourself to proceed.
- Your bank passbook with updated last transaction details
- Registered mobile
- Registered email id
- PAN card number or Date of birth
Step 1
Visit the official website of Union Bank of India

Click on ‘Digital banking’ next under digital banking select internet banking.
After clicking on internet banking page, you will be displayed a full open and you will see overview of internet banking products and at the right corner you will see a red button named internet banking click on that internet banking tab & will be redirected to Union Bank online portal.

Step 2
You will be redirected to the new page on that page. On this page you can see three options. If you were the customer of erstwhile Andhra bank or Corporation Bank and If you already had internet banking service activated on your account these links are provided for you. But if you want to register for internet banking for the first time, click on the first link labeled ‘for Union Bank customer’.
Step 3
Next you will find four different options out of that select ‘self user creation’ as shown in the following image. You will be redirected to the internet bank login page
You can see two options to create your internet banking user ID online. First option is for the retail customers who possess the debit card. The online registration id will be created and services with login and transaction facility will be available for those customers.
Second option is for the retail customers who do not possess debit card. The online internet banking user ID will be created, but for view only purpose. No transactions can be done using this account. You need to visit home branch to get transaction password and use full fledged internet banking services.
Choose options accordingly here if you have debit card go for first option and click on continue
Step 4
Next you will be redirected to the self user creation page. Here you have to fill personal details.
You will be displayed with the instructions and required documents details. You must keep all documents ready before proceeding for the creation of login ID and transaction password after that enter your details. Enter your account number then enter either your date of birth or PAN number.
Enter the verification code. Verification code is a simple addition subtraction which you will be asked. Enter the correct value in the box.
Click on continue. You will be redirected to the next page
Step 5
On this page you will be asked for debit card details and your transaction history. In the first option you have to fill ATM card number and ATM pin.
In the next option you will be asked to fill up your last transaction history. Either you may have deposited or debited money from your account you have to mention the same amount as the last transaction. Select the transaction type as a debit or credit.
After that select the facility type as ‘view and transaction’ then click the checkbox of terms and conditions to agree: “I understand and agree to the terms of use of bank” and click on continue.
On the next page user authentication will be done by OTP verification The OTP will be send to your registered mobile number which is already linked to the bank. Enter the valid OTP number received and click on continue
Step 6
On the next page where your auto generated user ID is displayed along with password creation option, you will have to set sign on password and transaction password separately.
Remember sign in password and transaction password must be different.
Tip: To create your sign in password for UBI net banking you must use the combination of at least one small letter one capital letter one numerical and one symbol. Your password must be at least 8 characters long.
Now type the sign in password in first box. Retype the same password in next box for confirming the password. Similarly type the transaction password in the box and retype the same transaction password in next box after that click on continue
Step 7
After you click on continue the user id and the message that saying password saved successfully will be displayed. After that you can go to ‘login page’ and enter your user id and password.
On this page you will be asked to ‘set a phrase’ and select a phrase image for the security purpose. Whenever you login into your account from anywhere you will be asked to click on the phrase and phrase image to verify that this is your account.
Now UBI net banking account registration process is completed.
You can use your online banking facility after 2 days as it will take more than 24 hrs to activate internet banking by Union Bank.
How to Reset Internet Banking Password & recover UserID
If you have forgotten your userid, then it can be recovered by contacting your home branch. You can email at ebanking@Unionbank.com or Internetbanking@Unionbankogfindia.com
Mention the necessary details like your account number, PAN card number, date of birth your transaction details etc. to verify. After that you will be provided with your user ID online.
How to recover UBI internet banking password
If you forget a password you can recover your password using menu profit and limits. Follow the procedure and you can recover your password in simple steps
Corporate customers can avail internet banking facility only by applying personally to the home branch. With all necessary documents you have to fill the form for internet banking facility and submit the documents required to activate the facility. This is the only way for the corporate customer no online facility to self registration is provided for corporate customer.
