How to register for Federal bank net banking
If you are Federal Bank customer and searching for the registration process and activation of internet banking service on your account then you are at the right place. The detailed guide to register login and password recovery for the fed net banking is provided further.
For Retail Customer
You can register for internet banking service on your account by online registration process. You can register online with your account number and debit card details and how to do it, let’s see the Detail procedure.
Step 1:
First of all visit official website of Federal Bank internet banking and click on internet banking. Or simply click here.
Step 2:
Click on internet banking you will be redirected to the fednet service page for Internet Banking login. Here select login tab and click on internet banking.
Step 3:
Next page you will be displayed with three option
1. personal banking
2. corporate banking and
3. New user option click on New user for the registration.
Step 4:
On the next page there will be some instruction provided before proceeding for fednet registration. Read all the instructions given and click on click here to register online.
Step 5:
After that you will be on the next page to enter your bank account details. Enter your 14-digit Federal Bank account number and click on continue.
Step 6:
Once you click on continue and OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number linked to your bank account. Enter the OTP and validate by clicking on validate OTP option. if you do not receive OTP click on Resend OTP option and a new OTP will be sent on your mobile once again.
Step 7:
After successfully validating OTP, you will be redirected on the next page where you have to create a user ID for your internet banking account.To create a user ID , keep the following things in mind.
1 point your user ID should contain at least six and at most 30 characters.
2. User ID can be alphanumeric.
3. If User ID you entered is already allotted then try for different user id and remember the user ID you created for login into fednet account in future.
Once you entered your user ID of your choice click on check availability if the user ID is not taken already by someone, you will be redirected to next page for generation of login password.If taken try entering another login ID and proceed
Step 8:
In this step you have to generate the login password for your account. Instruction to create the strong password are provided on the same page. Read all the instructions and create a strong login password. After that enter the login password in first box and retype the same password in the next box for confirmation once you do this click on submit
Step 9:
Once you submit your login password, a success message will generate on the screen the message saying online registration for fednet has been completed successfully and will display your user ID. Now click on login tab provided below this message to login into your account for the first time.
How To Login to Federal bank net banking
Step 1:
Once you successfully created the user id and password click on login button and you will be redirected to login portal. Here enter your user id and password you created in last step and click on log in.
Step 2: Terms and condition
Once you login into your account successfully the terms and condition along with the welcome note will be displayed on the screen. Accept the terms and condition by clicking on Agree button provided.
Step 3: Facility Type
After that you have to choose the transaction facility option. You will be ask to enable the transaction facility. select first option Yes, Transaction facility requiredif you want the transaction facility otherwise you can skip this by selecting maybe later option that click on submit.
Step 4: Debit card details
After selecting the facility type you will be redirected to the next page for the debit card details. Enter the details of your debit card like your debit card number, your card pin ,an expiry date etc. After that click on submit.
Step 5: Transaction password
As you opted for transaction facility, you have to set transaction password. Without the transaction password you cannot do online transaction using internet banking. Set the transaction password with the help of guidelines provided and enter password into the box. Retype the same transaction password in the next box for the confirmation and click on submit.
Step 6: OTP verification
Once you click on submit an OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number to validate the transaction password you created. so, enter the OTP and click on validate OTP.
Step 7:
After OTP validation, a success message will generate saying Your transaction facility is enabled please logout of the session and login again. To do this click on logout.
You will be shown with the successful log out of the account messages.
Step 8: Re-Login
Now go to the fednet internet banking page and choose personal banking. This will take you to the login page enter your login ID and password click on login.
After successful login you will be displayed with a dashboard for internet banking. On the dashboard you will see the account summary account balance and transaction history. Thisis how the entire process from generation of user ID to you first login is completed and your internet banking facility of Federal Bank will be completed here. Visit the fednet log in portal and click on forgot login Id.
Step 2:
Once you click on forgot user id link you will be on forgot User id page. on this page you have yo enter your 14-digit Account number and registered mobile number. Now enter the verification code and click on continue. After that your User id will be sent on your registered mobile number through SMS
